Schreber
2010
Live video performance with Audrey Lucie Riesen (Concept/Performer) and Iannis Heaulme (Sound) which comes after the first S.A.M. project where Audrey Lucie Riesen explored the world of of Gaspar Hauser, a wild child found in 1833, Audrey Riesen confronting a being alone in his environment, his birth, his conscience, his cry.
Continuing his research on loneliness, body, imprisonment, failure, leaks ... she creates a new being.
Centered around this time of autobiographical President Schreber, her exploration traverses the ravings of this man, self-proclaimed neurotic in his memoirs written in 1903. Continuing its work in monitoring and reclaiming of uncontrolled movements, it is based here on the first videos showing footage of patients with profound autism. The footage, shot in the late 19th century, are the new starting point for a dreamlike journey in which she immerses us in the head and fantasies of a unique individual.
